Landscape consultations in St. Louis

A consultation is a scheduled working visit. We walk the property with you and talk through what the project actually needs.

People book consultations for two reasons. Some want Environmental Landscaping to design and install the work. Others want a plan, a plant list, or a second opinion before they do the job themselves. Both are welcome.

What we cover

Bring the problem you can already see: a bed that has gone woody, a patio that does not fit the door, a lawn that will not fill in, water that sits by the foundation. We will talk about sun, soil, access for materials, and which parts are worth doing first.

If you are shopping for plants, the nursery side of the business matters here. We can tell you what we stock, what we would rather not plant in a west-facing clay bed, and what should wait until fall.

How to request a time

Call (636) 225-3848 or send the form on the contact page. Include the town, a short description, and whether you want us to install the work or advise a project you will do yourself. We are in the office Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday visits are by appointment.

Do you charge for a consultation?

Yes. Consultations are a paid service. We will explain the fee when we schedule the visit.

Do you consult if I am doing the work myself?

Yes. DIY homeowners are a regular part of the consultation work. We would rather help you choose the right plant than watch the wrong one go in.

What should I have ready?

Photos help, and so does a rough idea of budget range and timing. You do not need a finished drawing.
