Evergreen trees for screening and shade

Evergreen trees hold their foliage through winter, which makes them the usual choice for a wind screen, a property-line screen, or a corner of the house that looks empty from November to March.

Give them room. A spruce that fits the bed today can own the side yard later. We will talk through mature size before we plant.
